Thad Kammerlocher, M.D., FACS
Dr. Kammerlocher is originally from Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Psychology. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma and earned his medical degree in 1992. Following graduation, he interned in surgery at the Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Kammerlocher then completed his residency in General Surgery at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in 1998. He pursued a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Vanderbilt University from 1998-1999. During Training Dr. Kammerlocher was the author of multiple publications and awarded Resident of the Year of all graduating residents. Since that time Dr. Kammerlocher has practiced General and Vascular Surgery in SW Florida. His special interests include minimally invasive surgeries including AAA, PVD, and Carotid Vascular Interventions. He is a member of several societies including the Lee County Medical Society, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kammerlocher maintains Board Certification in General and Vascular Surgery. In his spare time Dr. Kammerlocher enjoys being the office prankster, golfing, travel, and spending time at the family farm in Oklahoma.
